Friday. Beginning of an amazing vacation away from her parents. Earlier that week she had ecided to skip school this glorious day and spend it mostly with Jules who had slept over the night before just like they had planned. The party would start tonight around nineish. Almost everyone was invited. It would be amazing. Seven a.m. The usual time she got up for school and the same for today. It was hard to break the habit. She wobbled down the narrow stairs of the small house. It was quite amazing how two adults and two teenagers even managed living in such a small house.
Chris. A goof ball, sex adict, druggie, Cassie's adopted brother and best friend. She absolutly loved having him around. He was always the one to say the most random thing at the weirdest times. Her and Chris were a lot alike in that way. Water. Cassie filled up one of the four glasses that were still clean. The night before, her, Jules, and Chris had vowed to drink from all the glasses in the house. After two hours...well, they had vowed to forget that vow and took turns using the toilet.
Late to sleep, early to rise. Cassie has always been like this for some odd reason. She's just learned to accept that she'll never get more than seven hours of sleep. CAssie plopped down on the couch and held the water glass in voth hands, waiting for a noise from upstairs. Who would get up first? Chris in his room, or Jules in Cassie's? [/blockquote]

Rolling over the sun slanted it's way under the disheveled boy's eyelids. Groaning he pulled his pillow out from under his head and covered his pale face. *THUNK* Another groaned escaped him as his head smacked the wall next to his bed. "FINE! I'M UP!" He rolled over and sat on the edge of his bed, stretching for a bit.
Chris had NEVER been a morning person. In fact, he despised waking up. Scratching wherever he itched, he made his way into the bathroom. The bathroom was the only thing that separated Chris & Cassie's rooms. Since her door was open, Chris saw someone curled up on Cassie's bed that was most definitely not Cassie. He inched in and realized who it was. Julianna Montgomery. Instead of heading back to the bathroom, Chris wandered downstairs in only his boxer briefs.
Cassie was already awake. Of course. She held two glasses in her hand as she sat on the couch. Chris really owed her, or at least he thought he owed her. If it weren't for her he'd be sitting back in England by himself in a flat he'd be evicted from before long. Tossing himself next to her on the couch, he took one of the glasses from her hand and grinned. "It's Friday. What kind of a teenager are you?"
