It's not over tonight Just give me one more chance to make it right. I may not make it through the night. I won't go home without you.
What might one describe such a night? Staring up at the sky, there wasn't a cloud to be seen, just the bright glimmer of every star burning freely. Despite the mid-October breeze, the air was warm, almost tingling to the touch. To put it simply, the night was perfect. It had been everything he'd intended it to be, yet earlier at the pool, he wouldn't of thought the day would brighten up like it had. Here he was, driving to the decided club, Allure, with Faiqa seated in the passenger seat. It was a great night for that particular club, being that it sat right on the beach, you could see everything from here to the nearest city. Rylan had been looking forward to the night ahead, and now that it was actually here, he couldn't wait to get started.
[ two hours before ]
The warm water seemed to calm him, as he stood in the shower, reliving the past few days like a movie. He was no longer living at home, and instead, he was living at a cousins house until... Well, that part hadn't been decided yet. Anyway, the days seemed to pass like a blur, and he found himself wrapped up in the recent events. How was it that he could screw everything up? His family relationship, his friendship with Mike, and possibly whatever he and Faiqa were. Honestly, at this point, he wasn't even sure who he was himself.
[ back to the present ]
The blond eased the car into an empty parking spot outside the entrance to the club, killing the engine, he stepped from the car. Out of habit, but more good upbringing, Rylan proceeded to the opposite side of the car. Opening the door before Faiqa could herself, a gentle smile formed across his lips, an arm outstretched to offer her his hand. If there was one thing about Rylan that every girl would remember, it was that he was polite, and everything good his parents might have taught him was put to good use.
His gaze wandered for a moment, the warm autumn breeze seemed to envelope him back to that happy state. The last few days had been nothing but pure hell, so heading to a club with Faiqa was one of the best distractions. He didn't quite know what tonight was, a date? Or was it more of a friend thing? He knew he'd just have to wait and see how the night played out, but a guy could pretend, couldn't he?

There are 8 billion people in this world 8 billion lives are changing Never felt so alone
There was nothing such as silence known inside the car as Rylan and Faiqa made their way to Allure. Some song was playing on the radio and that simple thing made Fai smile. Her head bopped to the beat and she didn't noticed that they had arrived. Ah, Allure. It was the perfect place for this...erm, evening.
As Rylan opened the door, Faiqa's smile couldn't help but widen. He was such a gentleman! She stepped out looking gorgeous. She wore the top she had bought earlier and the skirt too. Faiqa had a swimsuit underneath... just incase. "Allure, awesome." she smiled. Fai was looking cool and suave but in truth, her heart was pumping blood so fast that she felt like she was having a frikkin heart attack.
Noticing that Rylan's eyes were travelling again, she spoke once more. "Uhm, let's go?" she suggested with a shrug. So she was quite ecstatic about this thing. Whatever it was, that is. Really, this whole love triangle thing was getting on her nerves. Nothing but consternation.
Oh well, tonight would have to be fun.
Would you consider me inspite of this? I'm always the one who loses Would you make me better?

And you play your coy, but it's kinda cute. When you smile at me, you know exactly what you do.
The smile never disappeared the entire way to the club, his fingers gently tapping against the steering wheel to the beat of the music. The song was familiar, and every so often he'd glance in Faiqa's direction. It was nice to see the girl happy for a change, unlike earlier this morning. She'd left in quite the rush, and Rylan couldn't help but blame himself. However, tonight he'd attempt to make up for it, and hopefully succeed.
The blond had to admit, she looked excellent, not that he didn't himself, but she was definitely dressed to impress. His button-up shirt was the perfect shade of blue, light enough in color to where it highlighted his eyes. It hugged his frame nicely, showing off the better attributes to his torso. A more simple pair of black pants seemed to complete the outfit, leaving one's eyes satisfied. At Faiqa's words, he nodded, a gentle smile playing at the corner of his lips. "I thought it was just the night for it," He explained, the smile growing a bit wider. And Rylan was right, it had been the perfect night to come to Allure.
His attention hadn't wavered from the girl beside him, and it showed as he nodded once more, his eyes meeting hers for a brief moment. Rylan rarely ever got nervous, but today was a different story. There was something at stake here, whether it was a possible relationship, or their friendship, he didn't know. However, this boy planned to make the most of the night.
As they walked beside each other toward the main entrance, he glanced over at Faiqa. "Inside, or out?" He questioned, deciding to let her make the judgement. Part of the club was inside, decorated perfectly, but more for when winter came along. On the outside portion, white lights were strung overhead, a bar right in the middle of the deck. The music was already pumping loudly, the large crowd mingling in every area of the deck, most of them sporting a drink in one hand, their hips swaying to the beat of the music. A few couples dotted the beach, but for the most part it was deserted.
Tonight it was all about fun, and whatever else might be delivered in the meantime.

"Outside," she smiled then bit her lip. Faiqa was nervous about every little decision. She wanted this night to be perfect. She wanted it to be all it could be...Whatever it could be. Fai had no idea what Rylan was thinking. Or that they even had the slightest idea in common. But the Fai turned to face Rylan and decided, things didn't have to be perfect in every way. They just had to be perfect through each others eyes. It was a beautiful thought and a beautiful moment.
In a gesture of spontaneity, she gently took Rylan's hand into her own then looked up into his eyes. The height difference wasn't much but Fai still had her head tilted towards the sky. A smile. Tingles ran through Faiqa's body and she hoped that her feelings were just the same as Ry's...And for a moment, she believed. Oh, but then there was Beth! Why'd Beth have to pop up in her mind whenever she was with Rylan? Couldn't Fai have some time alone with the boy? It wasn't like they were official but deep down, there was a pang of guilt neither could deny.
Focusing on the present events and waving Beth's image into space, Fai looked into his eyes. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul and that's what Fai saw. She saw all of Rylan's emotions. She saw that...he was happy.
[ooc: Spontaneity: such a word? sorry. spellcheck won't work.

The blond nodded, quite happy with her choice. Why would one want to spoil such a picture perfect night? The possibilities were endless to what the night may hold, but he was looking forward to what might come. It was the best distraction he'd had in a long time to avoid the whole stress situation, and he'd bargained himself into only focusing on the night. It was hard to keep Rylan happy, and it was definitely hard to keep him relaxed. However, both traits seemed to be gained when he'd stepped out of his front door earlier that evening.
You could say that Rylan was pleasantly surprised when Fai took his hand, but he only smiled, his eyes meeting her gaze. He didn't know exactly what she was thinking, but he could definitely sense the nervousness through the connection of their hands. "Relax," He whispered softly, giving her hand a gentle, yet reassuring squeeze. What she was worried or nervous over, he still wasn't quite sure, but maybe his relaxed composure would put her at ease somehow. He'd gotten rid of any outside thoughts hours ago, now it was her turn, but he felt what she felt, a sense of being uneasy about something. He silently brushed it off, and halted by the bar. Glancing toward Faiqa, he spoke, "You want a drink?"
The night was about fun, and having a little escape from the outside world. A little alcohol never hurt, if anything, it just made him even more relaxed, and possibly it made him forget.
