It's All About YOU
Celebrity Portrayal: Boyd Holbrook.
Physical Appearance:
Lorne is striking. Everything about him is striking—his eyes, his hair, his jawline, his gaze, his glower…He uses his looks to his advantage, charming his teachers and acquiring more ass than your average sexually-charged teenager could want. Standing at a striking 6’1, Lorne is lean, but never skinny. His shoulders are broad, but not too broad, tapering down into a youthful waist. He sports a pair of long, muscled legs, and is relatively well-muscled all over, partly as a result of his genetics, but helped along by the fact that he rides dressage and plays mounted polo. The entire effect turns out a long, lean, muscular and fairly modelesque physique.
Lorne’s face is sculpted, lacking in any plumpness anywhere. He has high, hollow cheekbones and a high forehead. Bright blue eyes framed with long blonde eyelashes mesh well with a pair of lips which have been described as “upsettingly full”. He’s been told that he’s pretty like a girl. Lorne’s hair is another distinctive asset. In the summer it lightens to the color of cornsilk, and otherwise maintains the look of, for lack of a better term, spun gold. He’s very proud of his hair, and usually styles it to look just tousled enough to be sexy.
Clothing Style: Lorne loves fashion. He takes immense pride in looking good, and, while he is capable of making a fruit of the loom undershirt and jeans look good, often the young man opts for something a little fancier. Of course, the heir to an empire, he has the designer suits and sweaters, the silk shirts, the pleated pants. He wears these things and takes pride in them. He also has the fashionably torn jeans, the avant-garde jackets and blazers, the silk-screen t-shirts by Free People. Although he owns patent leather dress shoes, he also has a pair of beat-up cons, several fancy pairs of cowboy boots, and, obviously, top of the line outfits for horse-back riding, tight-fitting breeches, tall boots and all. Regardless of what he’s wearing, he always makes sure he looks as though he’s stepped out a magazine.
Personality:
Intimidating. Lorne is one of those people you hear about before you meet. His natural ability to lead gives him an immediate air of celebrity—he won’t wait for you, he won’t cater to you. He expects right off that people will want to be around him, and therefore doesn’t exert himself in a relationship unless he’s become intrigued. Intriguing Lorne, however, isn’t exactly an easy task.
Social.Witty and outgoing, Lorne is naturally attracted to people, and naturally attractive to others. When he feels that he’s on the same level with someone else, he’s very friendly, quick to laugh. He’s also never bored. He can party all night, and seems never to run out of fuel. He also is never bored—always endowed with an idea for an art project, a prank, a fun night, an interesting adventure, Lorne hates being bored and therefore must amuse himself. Since he is a highly creative individual, the results of these efforts are usually interesting.
Promiscuous Lorne is famously bad at maintaining a steady relationship. He gets bored with the same person and, yes, is apt to cheating. He loves a good hook-up and uses his good looks to coerce whoever he’s taken a liking to at the moment into bed with him, usually finding himself with willing prey. However, when he gets in the mood he’s fairly insatiable, and therefore has, to be totally honest, slept around a little bit. That doesn’t mean, however, that he’s not good at playing hard to get. In the past he’s been seen with both girls and boys.
Faking it. While he makes friends easily, Lorne is quite difficult to get close to. He puts up a façade that hides the way he actually feels. Underneath his devil-may-care, party-all-day attitude, he is highly intelligent, and, if he likes someone enough, maybe they’ll actually talk about things he cares about, like art, photography, literature, life. Paradoxically, he also says what he’s thinking without considering the results of his words. People often judge Lorne as fake, which, in a way, he is. They also judge him as shallow, which he is not.
Judgemental Lorne can tell when your clothes are from Wal-Mart and will look down on you for both your ignorance of the economic damage of Wal-Mart, as well as for being tacky. Lorne’s failure to not voice his opinion often gains him enemies, and he isn’t afraid to look down on people to their face. You either love him or hate him.

It's All BEHIND You
P.O.B: Massachusetts.
History: Lorne was born the oldest to an extremely wealthy stockbroker father and his ex-debutant wife, on a giant estate in Massachusetts. His old man later went on to become the CEO of an international investment and finance consulting company. The excessive wealth derived from this endeavor added to the already fairly large fortune of the family—both mother and father were members of east-coast Old Money high society.
Growing up just outside Boston, Lorne attended prep schools his entire life, and was catered to by not just his parents, who, invariably were often working (in his fathers case) or arranging various charity balls and benefits (in his mothers), but also by the eleven-person staff of their large estate, which was run by a housekeeper, two maids, a chef and the chefs assistant, the gardener and his assistant, a butler, a chauffeur, a nanny, and a groom for the horses.
Despite Lorne’s dislike of getting dirty, he did take an unusual interest in the horses, who were there mostly for show and partly for his mothers interest. Under the care of the groom, Lorne spent many afternoons of his childhood in the stables behind the house, learning how to take care of the animals. He was also given lessons from the first time he showed an interest in horses, and won several blue ribbons in jumping and dressage on the welsh pony his parents purchased for him at age seven. The little white horse was named Merrylegs, after its namesake in Anna Sewells Black Beauty. Just before high school, Lorne bought himself a six-month-old thoroughbred who would grow up to be his partner in crime. I.e Fitz. With the help of the groom who had taught him everything he knew, as well as his instructor in jumping, Lorne raised and trained the animal himself.
It was about this time, just before his eighth birthday, that Wilhemina was born. This little sister shared the same cherubic features with her brother, and, to this day is Lorne’s favourite person. It may have been mentioned that Lorne enjoys J.D Salinger. He likens his relationship with Willa to the relationship between Holden and Phoebe.
As Lorne grew older, he began to harbor a disdain for his family, excluding Willa. His mother, despite the fact that she pristinely continued to attend dinners and charity balls, etc, began taking valium in order to knock herself out for several hours on end, and to continue ignoring the fact that the love between mother and father had obviously grown cold. In typical dysfunctional east-coast fashion, Lorne’s father spent more and more time at the office, and, too disgusted to comfort his poor mother, Lorne responded by distancing himself from his parents.
It was at this time (Age twelve, about) that Lorne became friends with Iris, who had, until then, been an acquaintance of his from school with whom he attended “Dancing School”, a traditional co-ed etiquette class of sorts that, Lorne attains, is the pre-cursor to well-bred marriages, etc. and so-forth. The pair were soon thick as thieves, and went on to dominate the social scene at their middle school and later in high school as the fashion-forward King and Queen Bee. They attain that they look pretty good together—Iris started dying her hair once she turned fourteen, and dressing mostly in dark colors of lace—a snobby, gothy, lacy fashionista. Lorne, personally, loves the look. If you go through his things, there are a lot of photos of Iris looking as though she’s being shot in Vogue.
Upon entering high school, Lorne got into trouble right away. Drinking too much and using whatever drug was put in front of him resulted in the boys first expulsion. As a result, he switched to Woodard for the start of Sophomore year. Since he likes it here, he’s been more covert in his law-breaking.
Lorne’s mom still takes valium to stay happy, and his father is probably sleeping with his secretary, or something equally clichéd. Willa, although she’s terribly small for her age, is about to turn thirteen and is attending school at Lorne’s old school. Lorne and Iris have lost touch but still spend time with one another when he comes home for the holidays. Willa remains the only person who can take Lorne out of a funk—these usually arise in the company of his parents.
