Behind The Mask Your Name/Alias: jamie Years Roleplaying: 4ish? Maybe more. Joining Password: [admin edit] How did you find us?: You advertised on another site I'm on Sample Post: Rolling her eyes, Danni listened to him berate her. “Remind me never to do anything you tell me to do ever again. I just get in trouble for it later.” She shook her head and looked back at him as he laughed. A smile crept onto her face. She always seemed to smile around Logan, even when she didn’t want to. “Of course I would have actually hit you. I’m not a defenseless piece of fluff like most girls.” Danni looked at him skeptically. “But I do have the ability to become one. Not that I’d ever want to be one. I can’t stand those girls in the first place.” As she continued on about the old man, she listened to him chuckle. “You better save me next time I come stumbling in or we’ll both have a problem. I’ll tell the old man I was trying to get into your apartment.” Her eyes lit up. “That would really give them something to talk about!” Danni laughed to herself as she registered the second half of his previous statement. “Excuse you Logan. The couch? Ha! You can share your bed.” She grinned at him, knowing Logan wouldn’t take her seriously. He rarely ever did. That’s your problem. No one takes you seriously anymore when you say things. Congratulations, Danni. You’ve screwed it all up once again. She ignored her own thoughts and paid attention to Logan once more.
Danni nodded. “Right. But you know, it still hurts to be looked at like that. I mean, I’ve never spoken to her before. She afraid I’m going to kidnap her kid and train her in my evil friends with guys ways?” As the words left his mouth, Danni registered how awkward they probably did look to everyone else in their hallway. Both single, about the same age, and they spent more time together than was probably healthy or necessary. Shrugging it off, Danni caught his next question. Normally she would have answered right away, but recent events had her conflicted. There is definitely something going on here. Tell him that. No. Don’t. There can’t be anything. What about Luke? Yeah! What about Luke? Danni shook her head slightly to get rid of her thoughts. “I’m pretty sure there’s nothing. Unless you’re not telling me the whole truth Logan Cale.” Danni closed her eyes. She hated people that gave ambiguous answers like that. She had been on Logan’s end more than once and she was shocked she’d just done that to him. “Well. What I mean is, I don’t think there is anything going on. But if we keep doing this, the gossip might become fact, Logan.” What? Why are you still speaking? Stop! You can’t do this. Danni, close your mouth and bite your tongue. There is no other way to get you to shut up. Listening to her mind, for once, Danni did stop speaking. It didn’t seem like the right thing to do, but she knew she’d embarrass herself otherwise.
Neither of them had an intention of speaking now. They’d just had that conversation that a girl and a guy friend shouldn’t have to have. Somehow, somewhere, someone in the universe had it in for Danni. She’d left home, why? Her ex-boyfriend had decided it was a great idea to rip her heart into pieces and hand them back to her while he started dating her best friend. The first month she’d been here she’d managed to somehow get herself walked all over by the father-to-be headmaster. Now, well, this. Danni had managed another amazing feat. She was now harboring, for lack of a better word, crushes on not one, but two people. Her best friend and the not so strange stranger for the pub. Not exactly one to love the awkward situation, Danni ignored her feeling for one of them, Logan, and went after the other, Luke. But this conversation that the two of them were having here and now seemed to make ignoring her feelings for Logan beyond impossible. Danni looked up at the ceiling and shook her head. You win universe. You win. I’ve already given up on myself twice, but third time is a charm.
Danni was snapped out of her thoughts as she felt Logan’s arm around her shoulders. She had a moment of panic before she could figure out what he was saying. Calming herself down, she grinned at his words. Danni laughed as he stifled his. “Logan, you know full well why you said that. You said it because, well, depressingly enough it’s very true. We will be screwed together, Logan. There’s nothing either of us can do about that now. I do feel sorry for you. Now we’ve got an eternity to spend together in hell. damn. So much for being lonely in the inferno.” Danni smiled at him It was times like these when she knew the two of them were too good of friends for anything to happen between them. But there were other times, like when Logan showed up at the ball looking amazing and saving her night. Those times Danni was almost convinced that she was crazy for not being more than friends with Logan. Most of the time, however, she just shrugged both sets of thoughts from her mind. Like she was doing right now.
Nodding, Danni listened to Logan describe his brother. “If he’s like you then you forgot the Cale family trait.” She grinned as Logan looked at her. “Egotistical.” She laughed, knowing full well Logan would react to that in an interesting manner. Danni knew Logan wasn’t egotistical at all, but the words he’d used to describe his brother after the phrase “Kind of like me” left the door wide open for her. She simply walked in and shut it behind her. Her grin widened as he asked her about her birthday. “Wouldn’t you like to know, sir? I think I won’t tell you until it is the day of my birthday. Then I can put you on the biggest guilt trip ever. Sounds fair to me.” Danni looked down as her smile stayed on. She took this silence as an opportunity. Grinning, Danni looked back at him and crossed her arms. “Wait a minute. You’re not being fair. Do you even know when your own birthday is Logan Cale?” She knew he probably did, but it was always fun to pick on him for little things like that.
Feeling his hands clasp hers tighter and hearing his words seemed to set something off within her. Danni narrowed her eyes at him. “Furious? Oh please. Furious doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel right now.” I’d say it is more compassion, caring, or even lo- SHUT UP! I didn’t ask you to help! Danni breathed deeply as he continued. Her rage, as she’d labeled it, seemed to be dwindling, but not disappearing. She nodded, half comprehending his words. One phrase, however, did seem special. “A time before I met you… I couldn’t leave you if I tried.” Oh no. Oh no no no no. This is the same in every bad movie ever. Please Logan don’t. A look of worry plagued her eyes as she waited for his next move.
She was taken by surprise when Logan leaned towards her and very gently kissed her. A sharp intake of breath followed as her eyes closed. No retaliation. She didn’t even push him away. However, as quickly as he’d attacked, Logan was gone. Danni’s eyes shot open and found Logan looking back at her. She bit her lip as he continued to speak. Stop speaking. Don’t say it. Stop speaking Logan! It was useless though. He’d said those three words (even though he’d used more than three). “I think I love you.” The words Danni had wanted to hear so badly, but at the same time she didn’t, had just left the mouth of her best friend. The same mouth that had been on hers just a second ago. So why was she so confused?
At a complete loss for words, Danni maintained his eye contact. She knew this wasn’t a joke. She also knew he didn’t mean this in a friendly way. In fact, Danni knew every single way Logan didn’t mean it. It was the way he did that she couldn’t process. Shaking her head, Danni lost eye contact with him and looked away. This was too much. There was no way this could have been real. Absolutely no way. Clenching her jaw and squeezing her eyes shut, she knew she was on emotional overload. “Logan, I… I…” Instead of finishing her statement, she broke down. Danni couldn’t fight it any longer. Opening her eyes, they blurred quickly with water. This is was probably the one way Logan was not expecting her to react, but she couldn’t help it. Unable to look at him, she tried to wipe away her tears, but knew she was beyond the point of no return.
Back To The BASICS Full Name: Julianna Danielle Montgomery Nicknames: Jules Age: 15 D.O.B: July 26th Gender: female Grade: Sophomore Original Appearance: She’s always been here
It's All About YOU Celebrity Portrayal: Willa Holland Physical Appearance: Julianna is neither tall nor short. While she is one of the taller average height girls, there are others who see over her head. She’s used this to her advantage however. Being one of the taller ones of her friends, she has been able to sort of own her posse. Julianna doesn’t necessary tower over anyone in her group, but her love for heals makes her a decent height for a posse leader.
Her face is something most people call deceiving. Her round face makes her appearance youthful, almost annoyingly so. The only thing that makes her face appear to be the right age are her eyes. Something about her eyes gives her the proper appearance of a fifteen year old. They seem older, innocent, and completely inexperienced. Her eyes are constantly lined in a color to match whatever she’s wearing, but she makes a point of making them stand out against her tan skin and her dark blonde hair, which is usually found in a braid.
Julianna is the epitome of thin. Her shape is exactly what she wants it to be. She’s not deathly thin, nor does she look like she has some sort of eating disorder. She is thinner than most of the other girls though. She prides herself on having a one-up on her friends, especially Samantha Avery.
Clothing Style: Julianna can always be found dressed to the nines. She has something against wearing the same outfit twice in one week, and loves to get dressed up. Her style, however, ranges from a simple polo shirt and tight designer jeans to a high fashion skirt and a slinky top. Her typical accessories are a simple silver thumb ring, some sort of necklace to match whatever outfit she has on. Julianna’s favorite accessory though is shoes. She constantly wears a cute pair of heels, or sometimes, though very rarely, sneakers, to go with her mood. When her mood is good, the heels are spiky and brightly colored. When she’s depressed she wears her favorite pair of black low heels.
Personality: Outsiders might say the girl has multiple personalities. Julianna acts very differently when in differing company. No real reasoning behind it, it’s almost as though she’s been programmed to act the way she does when she’s around whomever she’s around.
Personality one has been named “Julianna.” This side of her comes out whenever a parents or a teacher is around. Julianna has always been Mommy’s Little Girl. Well, at least that’s what her parents think. She plays the part of the perfect daughter and plays it very well. She’s polite, well mannered, and pleasant. In fact, put her at a dinner party with a bunch of 40 year olds and Julianna could charm the pants off the entire group.
Personality two has been named “Anna.” This personality is reserved for acquaintances and enemies. Anna is the pleasant friendly girl that loves to chat about her weekend plans or where she got her newest shoes. The person who knows Anna best is Samantha Avery. The rivalry between these two girls feeds this personality.
Personality three, her lest commonly known, is named “Jules.” Jules can only be recognized by the select few [namely Rylan and her own brother]. Jules is the laid back up for anything girl that just wants to have a good time. Her idea of a good time is just wasting her time with people she likes, not a big request for a 16 year old.
Likes: - Boys - Music - Clothes/Shoes - Parties - Concerts - Friends - Having fun - Storms [especially thunder/lightening] - Loud noises - Singing Dislikes: - Liars - Backstabbers - Awkward silences - Enemies - Criticizers - Overall Flaws: Julianna is flawed in a lot of ways. There are scars on Julianna’s body from only God knows what. There is a v shaped scar around the edge of her eyebrow, a line that runs diagonal across her knee, and a burn on her hip. Julianna uses make up to cover the scar by her eyebrow, and tries to ignore the other two. While her physical flaws are easily hid by make-up, her personality flaws are on display for the whole world to see.
A grudge is something Julianna is known to keep. She’s catty and even slightly bitchy. She tries her hardest to be upfront with people, but it’s not always possible. Technically, that means she talks about people behind their backs, which means she’s a hypocrite since that’s something she despises.
In short her flaws are: - Hypocritical - Holds a grudge - Gossiper - Bitchy - A handful of scars - Is known to get excessive with drinking - Smokes her fair share [sometimes more than cigarettes]
Pets: None Financial Status: Julianna and her brother are definitely secure. I’ll leave it at that. Clique: Preps
It's All BEHIND You P.O.B: Roanoke, Virginia History: It was a hot day. July 26, 1991. Amelia Montgomery had just given birth to a beautiful baby girl. However, this baby girl’s secret was too big for the tiny town of Roanoke. Amelia Montgomery had had an affair with Richard Avery. This beautiful tiny Julianna was the outcome of that affair. No one would ever know that secret, or would they? After all, small towns do love their gossip.
Julianna grew up in a typical suburb family. She had an older brother, a father, a mother, and countless friends. Being a social butterfly, even at her young age, she was never bored and always had something to do. It didn’t hurt that her brother was only one year older and they had many similar friends. The Montgomery family seemed perfect. But behind every picture perfect family is a decrepit frame.
Amelia and Michael Montgomery began to fight. A lot. Julianna and her brother tried to ignore it, but that never seemed to work. They tried to help each other through their rough times, but even that seemed to make a good brother-sister relationship impossible. It wasn’t resentment, but for some reason, Julianna got the feeling that her brother blamed her for their parent’s divorce. Knowing full well it wasn’t entirely her fault, Julianna couldn’t help but start to wonder if maybe it was partially her fault. June 12, 2003. That was when she started crying herself to sleep. The night her father left.
It was just a few months ago, just before her 16th birthday that Julianna met the one person that finally seemed to understand her. Her best friend. Rylan Avery. It was curious how the brother of her biggest rival could somehow become her best friend. Julianna blamed it on the sick sense of humor of the universe and spent practically every waking moment over the summer with Rylan. This friendship has caused a lot of drama within the families. How will everyone react?
Family: Father – Michael Montgomery [40] – divorced Mother – Amelia Montgomery [38] – divorced Biological Father – Richard Avery Brother - _____ Montgomery [16] – Junior (I’ll fix that when someone registers as him and gives him a name.) Half-Brother – Rylan Avery [17] - Senior Half-Brother – Tyler Avery [16] - Junior Half-Sister – Samantha Avery [15] - Sophomore Other: I think there’s enough there for you to get an idea on Julianna. After all, some things are meant to be kept a secret.
