Gamma lay back on the blue park bench, dangling her sandals off her toes. The sandals were to compliment the maroon, vneck sundress she had on. She was attempting to smoke a cigarette this way, though it wasn't working out to well. Repeatedly ash would fall down into her face, and she'd have to swat it away before it made its way into her eye.
She cocked her head sideways to stare at the green blue lake. The sun pounded its fists into the water, making it warm and inviting. Children prowled around, playing games.
James was supposed to arrive soon. They had made plans to go kayaking on the lake. She was rather good at kayaking, and sort of wanted to show James up, though she knew it wouldn't occur. She laid their waiting.

Kayaking? What in the world was he thinking? James scrunched his face up, lamenting on whether asking to do something else. Kayaking he had never tried out, so what was the harm? Besides the fact that he could terribly embarrass himself in front of his good friend. But so he heard she was good at it. Now strutting down the park he was in his usual red and white striped tee and baggy jeans on the verge of falling off.
Spotting Gamma, he waved, a slight grin upon his face as he noticed the cigarette in between her lips. He quickened his pace towards her, bending low, he peered over her as she lay down, "Yo, Gammy." He smirked, eyeing her cigarette. With a honest look on his face he asked, "Care to share one?"
Now wasn't probably the best time to smoke, after all, he was going kayaking. But watching Gamma smoke carelessly on the ground was more than an invitation. He was definitely craving for something to make him relax, what with all the smoke that wavered around them.

She looked up to greet James. She bent straight up nearly hitting him and rummaged through the front pocket on her backpack. "Of cose'," she said in a mock accent as she pulled her pack out and handed it to him. It took her a little longer to find her lighter and she traded that to get the pack back.
She pulled shorts out of her back pack and slipped them on under her sundress. She stripped off the sundress to reveal a wife beater. Gamma beamed at James. "Are you ready?" she said eagerly. "Let's put down five dollars every time we flip,"
