For Lissa Faye. All Tidus needs is just two... just two minutes of sleep before heading out! That's really all he needs to regain his energy. Two minutes is half of the regular amounts of sleep he gets only a daily basis. It's amazing. He shut off his computer and yawned. He got dressed and that only took him two minutes to pick something off of his floor and wear it, a pair of jeans and a Avenged Sevenfold t-shirt and his red vans and his down. Yeah, Tidus was meeting up with Lissa today to go to the mall and get some cd and records or shit. It's like what they do, buy some record... pizza... catch a movie... pizza... cause chaos... and did i mention pizza? Yeah... they order pizza. They kind of gave up on making pizza by themselves... let's not go there! Yes, people may not believe it but Lissa and Tidus do chill-out outside of American Government class... It's just on a complete different level of chilling out. It's getting pretty boring hearing me babble on and on isn't it? Right, with that... let's begin! "On the way to the beach... can we please not drive?" Tidus held the entrance door to the mall for Lissa... it was the right thing to do! It is a start anyways.

Lissa shut her laptop and hopped off her bed to get ready to meet Tidus. She looked at herself in the mirror attached to her closet door. She ran her finger through her hair and tugged at her blue t-shirt. She retouched her eyeliner and blush, and smudged on some lipgloss. She dug her shell-toe Adidas with the green stripes out from under her bed, picked up her purse from her desk, said 'bye' to her roommate, Max, and started out. Lissa and Tidus met up outside of the dorms and made their way to the Saxon County Mall.
"On the way to the beach... can we please not drive?" Lissa smiled at Tidus for opening the door for her, and answered as she walked through them "No problem. If we walk we get more time to talk, anyway" Lissa led the way through the big shopping mall to the record store. "What CDs are you looking for? You know I'm really good at finding those sort of things"

Once Lissa got past by the door and himself, Tidus just made his way through the doors and followed behind Lissa tying to catch up with her. He tucked his hands into his back pocket and bit his bottom lip. No problem. If we get more time to talk, anyways. Tidus got a very uncomfortable look on his face. When ever a girl asked him to just talk, which is normally his mother, and his best friend… they make him want to hurl. But then again it’s Lissa. The worst there could be would be… Tidus just nodded his head. What CDs are you looking for? You know I’m really good at finding those sort of things. Tidus shrugged his head and looked forward. He has an act for running into things… poles… old grandmothers… “Well definitely something that I don’t have and I need more record covers for my room and then break the records in side the cover!”

“Well definitely something that I don’t have and I need more record covers for my room and then break the records in side the cover!” Lissa laughed and said, "Something you don't have? That'll be impossible to find" Tidus had an extensive music collection, and record covers papered the walls of his room. Lissa grinned up at him and nudged him with her elbow to show that she was just joking with him. It was also an excuse to walk closer to him. Lissa had something of a crush on Tidus, but she didn't think it was mutual. It was strange how she could be so upfront and flirtatious with certain guys at school-particularly the jocks-but she had never tried anything with Tidus. He probably didn't like her, anyway, he was probably more into typical cute girls who listened to Cartel and didn't get involved in barfights every weekend.

Something you don’t have? That’ll be impossible to find. Tidus laughed slightly. He looked at Lisa when she nudged him. For some reason everyone loves to nudge him. He just smiled at the corner of his mouth and looked down as his shoes began to squeak. Guess he was wearing his new ones. “I don’t blame you for that comment… but there are new releases and I want them dammit!” He really doesn’t, it’s not only his wall… he has enough cds to fill his closet… and his suitcase. “But I was thinking more on the lines of bands that no one has ever heard of before!” He really just didn’t care about what he gets. He just wants some cds and records and have a good time with Lissa and he will feel accomplished by the end of today. That really wasn't going to be very hard to do anyways. Anytime with Lissa is good for Tidus. It keeps him sane and mostly likely to get into prison.

"Can you reccommend anything that I should get? I haven't bought a CD in soo long" This was a half-lie. Lissa had ordered an old Jay-Z CD online a few nights ago, but she didn't usually know about new releases. She rarely listened to the radio, not counting having it on as white noise when she was trying to concentrate on homework, and never read music magazines. Most of her music collection was stolen from her brothers, who tasted was very eclectic. On any given day one of the Faye siblings might be listening to rap, classic rock, and punk (Ricky) or hip-hop, pop, and classic rock (Charlie), or any and all of the above (Lissa). Lately, she heard about new bands from word of mouth- mostly Tidus' mouth. He always had a good suggestion or two for her.

Can you recommend anything that I should get? I haven’t bought a CD in soo long. Tidus looked down at Lissa and detected something. Lissa… no CDs… too long? What the hell? He just nodded his head and looked at his surroundings. The place he loved the most than anything in this world was around here somewhere. Tidus and Lissa turned a corner and he grabbed her wrist and pulled her all the way to the record store… that really wasn’t far, only about 7 steps. Once he opened the doors he let go off of Lissa and took a deep breathe. He felt like he was in heaven, which you know is kind of… what’s the word? Well whatever it is, it’s that considering that he really hasn’t been to heaven yet so he has no idea what it’s like but this… this was as close to heaven as it’s ever going to get for Tidus in this lifetime. He took a deep breath and let it out of his mouth with a sigh. “If you really need my help then you better stay close! So like what kind of genre are you looking for the most?” Well, if Tidus were with someone in a music store… the other person would not probably see Tidus for like another hour. But Cds were really not the most important thing he needed right now. It’s about the record covers. Usually they sold like records here from like a really long time ago for like a buck. They just always move them around.

Lissa laughed as Tidus dragged her into the record store. The boy sure did get excited about that store. Lissa looked up at him, smiling, as he took in the atmosphere. A moment later he was back to business: “If you really need my help then you better stay close! So like what kind of genre are you looking for the most?” Since Lissa hadn't really been in the market for a new cd, she hummed and pretended to think for a bit before answering. "I don't really know. I'll just try to keep up with you and see if anything catches my eye, I guess"

I don’t really know. I’ll just try to keep up with you and see if anything catches my eye, I guess. Tidus let out a small and short laugh. Yeah, he gives much luck to Lissa for that. “Yeah, good luck to you on that!” He smiled at her and began walking very slowly making sure he looks at everything. Tidus was not really much of any genre kind of person. He is more into one genre and one genre only so it will be kind of hard for him to help Lissa because she basically likes almost anything. Let’s just hope she doesn’t like classical or country cause then Tidus is going to explode. He really doesn’t think that anyone really likes those genre…. Well except his parents. Then again his parent are like…Grrr. Tidus came to somewhat of a complete stop near the new releases. Thank the lord this store has one other wise it would have been impossible for “What about The White Stripes. Don’t they have like a new CD or something now? Or even Linkin Park one of my favorite bands in the word!” Tidus began picking off a CD after another and tried to shove them into Lissa’s hands.

When shopping for CDs, Lissa generally didn't buy new ones at the store. Instead, she would go to the 'previously owned' bin in the back, then make her choice by looking at how clever the name of the band was and the picture on the cover of the liner notes. Tidus seemed to have a different approach, walking around the entire store, carefully looking through each and every cd. Well, almost each CD- Lissa noticed that skipped over the classical and country/western CD sections. She was fine with that, Lissa didn't care much for country, and classical music was for ballet only. Sure, she had a copy of Don Quixote, and the ballet staple The Nutcracker, but that's about as far as her classical selections went. Tidus stopped short in front of the store's new releases section and Lissa walked into his back. Before she had a chance to apologize, Tidus began handing her CDs.
“What about The White Stripes. Don’t they have like a new CD or something now? Or even Linkin Park one of my favorite bands in the word!” Lissa tried to balance all the CDs that were handed to her. Before she dropped them all, she laughed and said "Tidus! woah, calm down, buddy! I can't get all of these!"

Now Tidus was just lost in a haze… I think he even threw in a classical cd in Lissa’s arms once or twice! He just couldn’t help it. Music is just too good. It’s endless and it’s always better to make good use of what you got before it goes. Tidus! woah, calm down, buddy! I can’t get all these! Tidus breather heavily and slowly turned to face Lissa. “Ahh yes my friend. You might not… but I sure as hell can!” It was true… Tidus has been waiting for a day like this since… he was first born? He grinned slightly at Lissa and took a cd one by one from her arms. “Ohh, Arctic Monkey! Heard of them?” The Arctic Monkeys were basically legend to Tidus. He leaned back slightly on the racks and flipped over the cd. You would really like this. A song completely just popped into Tidus’s head from nowhere that was also legend. It just had to be legend. He looked up from his CD and smiled at Lissa. He just has to sing it! Everyone in his or her lives, one point or another has sung this song before. “Hey Lissa?”

Watching Tidus in the CD store was like looking at a kid in a candy shop. Lissa tried to look at each CD he tossed into her arms, but it was a nearly impossible task. It seemed like the deluge of music wasn't going to end, but Tidus stopped suddenly. When he turned to her, his face was that of a fanatic. Lissa would have not been surprised if he had started foaming at the mouth. Instead, he grinned and picked out a CD from the pile in Lissa's arms.
“Ohh, Arctic Monkey! Heard of them?” Before Lissa had a chance to respond affirmatively, Tidus spoke up again.
“Hey Lissa?” She tilted her head and raised an eyebrow at his silly grin. She smiled back and said, "Yes, Tidus?" Lissa had no idea what was going to come out of his mouth. She never did, which was one of the reasons she enjoyed spending time with Tidus so much. Every moment was a surprise, as much of a cliche as that might be, it was true when it came to Tidus.
