The male had come out here for no reason whatsoever. His parents weren't around in this world, and he lived in a dorm.So as long as Alex wasn't being retarded, then he'd be fine out here by himself. He had his Yoichi with him, this little ferret that he had gotten when he first came to America. The little albino ferret sqeeked at his master and climbed up to him shoulder, from his jacket pocket. " Hey Yoichi. What do you think is up there?" he asked the little Ferret as he looked up at the sky.
He stood on one of the docks, and it was just hitting midnight and he just stood there, doing nothing. The little ferret climbed ontop of Reit's head, and hung onto the top of his head, and let it's back slide off the back of Reit's head. And it just sat there. Against the blonde's head, it looked like a strange hat that he was wearing, but nope, it was Yoichi.
Reit pet the Ferret who was on his head now, and he sighed. He was bored, but calm at the same time. It was a great night for anything to happen, except for an arguement. That would make the calm male angry and fustrated. " Yoichi! That hurt!" he spoke as the little ferret clawed at his head. He growled lightly at the little ferret but couldn't stay mad at him. The little Ferret Sqeeked and licked the male's hand that was now over the ferret. Reit smiled and pet the ferret and looked out at the water. " I'm bored now, Yoichi. What should we do?" he asked and looked up at the ferret.

Looking about, almost cautiously, she dashed across the sand then suddenly slowed her pace to a brisk walk. The owner of the bare feet was somewhat glad to be outside on such a clear night, but also a tad wary. She of course would always be wary, no matter how many people comforted her and assured her that she would be fine. Worry would be etched into her brain until the day she died.
Slowing down now to a very slow, almost slow-motion, paced stride she looked out at the bay. The water was dark, but very calm and the sky was almost a mirror image except for the occasional star here and there. It really was a sight, and yet Stella had the nagging feeling that someone was following her.
Shaking her head she looked about, simply turning in the sand. Hmm, there was something out there. Someone? Yes yes, definitely a person. Walking silently closer she tilted her head. Was he talking to someone? It was then that a furry thing scampered onto his head, and Stella recognized it to be a ferret of sorts. Raising a brow as the boy talked to it, she walked closer. Excuse me, but what are you doing? An odd question yes, as anyone could see he was talking to a ferret at midnight, sitting on the bay, but still she was curious.

Dark eyes shot over his shoulder at the person behind him. She had asked a question that he didn't really want to answer. The asian tuned completely around to see this girl. He didn't think that he knew her, and he didn't nessessarly like new people. or meeting new people. The male looked over the female human and slightly wondered why she'd want to know. Reit kept his lips sealed for a second, as the ferret ontop of his head had crawled down the male's shirt and into the male's jacket pocket. The little ferret hissed slightly at the new female, Yoichi didn't take to strangers well either.
Reit fingered the back of his nose band and looked at the female once again. It was dark, but he could still slightly see her figure, and the details of her face. He could see her eyes burrowing into his soul, or so if seemed like it to him. He sighed and finally opened his mouth to speak. " Is it any of your business?" he asked sharply as his deep accent interfeired with his speech.

Stella didn't recognize the boy, not even from school. Perhaps he was new. Yes, that must be it. She knew everyone and to think that her sociability was slipping up would be a tragic thing.
Tilting her head, she could tell that the boy and his ferret were irritated by her presence, especially when it hissed. She of course didn't care, it's not as if he owned the bay or anything, so on she would go, talking as much as she pleased. As he asked a question, his tone was sharp and demanding, something that Stella wasn't used to. No, it's not. I just thought I'd ask. She answered simply, moving so that she was now standing in front of the boy. Not only did he look unfamiliar but the boy appeared to be rather awkward with this tiny conversation, that or he just didn't want her around. So why are you out here at such an hour? The nightlife was preferred by some, but sitting alone with a ferret at the bay wasn't what she would call 'nightlife-y'.

What was her motive? Why did she ask him questions. She didn't even say her name, why should Reit have to answer her questions. The male eyed her, as she moved closer to him, and as she started to talk. Dude, did she not understand that talking to him, without being his friend is like talking to a brick wall? His trust in strangers had not been well, ever since he was a little kid. The motive's of this female were not coming into Reit's head as fast as they useally do. He couldn't figure out why she had come so close, and why she had come here.
" Can't I ask you the same?" he asked, and almost bit his tongue to hold the qestion back. If she was to ask him questions, why not respond with questions himself. This girl. She seemed like a prep, but he couldn't tell too much. But just by those first questions, he could tell that by the way she looked at him that she hadn't seen him before. Reit wasn't too new either, he had been here since last year, so he had gone to the school almost two years now.

The boy's irritation was not lost on Stella, it actually made her all the more curious. Tilting her head and listening to his query she sighed. Alright, fair enough. I couldn't sleep. Her tone was even as she spoke. Now it's your turn, why are you here? Though he would probably file a restraining order against her the minute he was free of her presence, Stella figured she might as well meet someone new first.
Sitting down easily, her bare-feet cold from the chilly night air, she looked about. It was so calm at night. Well it really was pretty calm during the day too, but after sunset the bay took on a whole new meaning of placid. The full moon reflected off the water gracefully. Ahh if only every night could be like this. But no, she would wake up in the morning with the same fear as always, had someone else been murdered? Who was it this time? Yup, the greatest fear of all, the fear of death. Necrophobia, as it was called.
