Lissa was very glad that this week was over. Classes, detentions, dance, gymnastics and work were bad enough, but this particular week she had found out that her good friend, Joie, was in a heap of trouble. If there was ever a week that deserved a happy ending, it was this week. Lissa had been looking forward to the weekend and going out since leaving Joie's house a few days prior. Earlier today, through texts and IMs, Lissa had told her close friends that she partied with that there was a great need to party tonight. She didn't tell anyone that the main cause of the party was to relieve Lissa's stress about Joie's situation, just that it was imperative that the group go all out. Lissa told her friends to gather in the dorm room that she shared with her best friend, Max. Lissa and Max kept a hidden stash of alcohol that they used to get themselves buzzed before going out to a club or party. It was constantly being replenished by the use of either the liquor store in town that infamously didn't check ID on girls sporting cleavage or any number of older guys that Lissa or Max convinced to buy for them. It was, of course, against the dorm rules to have any sort of alcoholic substance in a room, but Lissa and Max didn't care. Lissa lounged on her bed, wearing a 'going out' shirt, jazz pants -she'd change into a skirt or tight jeans before they left- , her makeup done, idly clicking around online, waiting for someone to show up so that they could start forgetting her troubles.

Was it Friday already? It had to be. Lissa was having her "Let's go the hell out!" freak out right across the hall. Derek was yelling at her from next door, so Joel decided that maybe it was time he got dressed. He'd been sitting in his room in his boxers for the past half hour. Standing slowly, he stretched his arms out to his sides and yawned slightly. His stereo was blasting his latest band obsession as Joel swung his closet door open.
He was feeling, well, lazy. So instead of actually finding clothes to put on, he grabbed the first pair of jeans he saw and inspected them. Joel shrugged and assumed they were in good enough condition. Pulling them over his hips, he slung a belt through the loops and slipped his feet into his typical red converse.
Pleased with himself, he grinned as he knocked on Lissa's door. Of course it was open and swung in as he knocked. Joel leaned against the door frame and looked at Lissa who was sitting on her bed. "Well don't you look... sexy? No. Cute? No. Hot? Definitely no. Comfortable. That's the word."

Lissa looked up when the door opened. She grinned at the sight of Joel propping himself up with the doorframe. Lissa, Joel, and Derek had been thick as thieves since getting together their freshman year. The two boys and Max were Lissa's best and closest friends, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
"Well don't you look... sexy? No. Cute? No. Hot? Definitely no. Comfortable. That's the word." Lissa laughed and beckoned Joel to come in. She joked back at him, "It's 'lazy chic'. And I know you think I'm sexy regardless of what I have on." Lissa rearranged herself so that she was sitting up on her bed, making room for Joel. She flipped open her phone to check the time. "I figure we wait until Derek and Athena make the trek from across the hall and then we can start getting ready to go?"

It's 'lazy chic'. And I know you think I'm sexy regardless of what I have on.
"Ah. Lazy chic. That's what I'm sporting as well." Joel smiled as he indicated to his lack of shirt. Something about not wearing a shirt made him feel more comfortable. Perhaps it was that he was quite proud of his tattoo [located on the right area of his chest], or perhaps it was that he liked to walk around and show off his slim frame. Either way, it was a good way to get the guys living around him to give him a once over and a raised eyebrow. Noticing her move on her own bed, Joel lazily dragged himself over and fell onto the bed, his head in her lap.
I figure we wait until Derek and Athena make the trek from across the hall and then we can start getting ready to go?
Nodding his head ever so slightly at her comment, Joel stared at the ceiling. His feet moved in time with the music that came out of the speakers of Lissa's computer. He mentally noted that it was, as usual, one of the bands he'd given her to check out last year, and that's he'd recently found one a lot like them. He reminded himself to tell her about Orange Banana Shakes eventually.
Joel sighed, but didn't move. "Jesus. You'd think Athena was the guy and Derek was the girl in that room. I mean, one's a complete slob and doesn't think twice about just walking out of the room. The other's an OCD freak that has to check their reflection for an hour before he'll walk down the hallway." He shrugged slightly and closed his eyes. "You really are comfortable Lis. Hope you don't mind if I take a quick nap on ya." Joel smiled and opened one eye to look up at her.
[[ooc: I kind of want to start a band called Orange Banana Shakes now.]]

"Ah. Lazy chic. That's what I'm sporting as well." Lissa snorted and poked Joel's tattoo. In Lissa's opinion he was overly proud of it. It was a nice tat, no doubt, but there was really no need to prance around shirtless all the time. Lissa smiled when Joel flopped onto her bed and put his head in her lap. Joel was surprisingly cuddly for a shirtless punk. Lissa reached over and clicked around on her computer. She set her iTunes to the playlist called 'Joel Punk', which were her favorite songs from the sundry punk and hardcore bands that he sent her way. She knew he'd like it. She laughed as he commented on Derek and Athena. She agreed, "So true", under her breath. She loved Derek and Athena to death but they were a funny pair.
"You really are comfortable Lis. Hope you don't mind if I take a quick nap on ya." Lissa grinned at the boy in her lap "I don't think I'd be able to stop you, would I." She patted his head and absentmindedly began to play with Joel's bangs. "Take a little catnap. I want you fully awake when we go out tonight"

"So true"
Joel nodded again and said, "Yeah. They're so weird together. But whatever." Joel opened his eyes and smiled before crossing his arms over his stomach. He was strangely comfortable laying there with Lissa. Glancing over at the door, he saw no movement in the hall and closed his eyes again.
"I don't think I'd be able to stop you, would I? Take a little catnap. I want you fully awake when we go out tonight."
She started playing with his bangs and his eyes flew open. Joel smirked and simply said, "Oh? Need me awake do you? What exactly would you be planning tonight my friend?" It was things like that that made Joel happy to go out with these people. Nights were always eventful and spontaneous. That and there was always the off chance he'd end up making out with Lissa or some random girl.

"Oh? Need me awake do you? What exactly would you be planning tonight, my friend?" Lissa laughed "Just the usual debauchery. I've been needing to go out and go nuts since Tuesday, seriously." She looked out the open door. Still no sign of Derek and Athena, the dynamic duo. Lissa looked down at her lap and realized that she had french-braided Joel's bangs, making a braided hairband that was absolutely rediculous on him. She clipped the end of the braid into place and held her small makeup mirror in front of his face. "You have to go out like that"

Milo stormed into the dorms as usual. He could be heard coming in with all the slamming of the doors and what not. Bad day...no bad week. He was never really in a good mood. He never really cared. All he knew was that he wanted sleep and he wanted sleep now. He wore baggy dark jeans with holes and frays everywhere, a tight fitting light pink shirt that showed his stomach muscles and had his worn chuck taylors on. Over one shoulder was his worn out cloth backpack that had misc. buttons and writting all over it. He ran a hand through his already messy, choppy hair and sighed heavily.
He walked down he hall and was approaching Lissa and Max's dorm room. He heard chattering and wondered for a split second who all was in there. He slowed his pace and listened for a moment before walking to the doorway. The door was open so he just stood in the doorway and looked at the people in the room. He said nothing but lifted a brow. Lissa looked up from her work on Joel's head as another person stepped into her doorway. She wasn't expecting Derek yet, and she was right. It was Milo. She should have been able to guess that it was him, what with the slamming doors and stomping that preceded his entrace. She gave him a smile. Lissa and Milo were pretty good friends, but he didn't take too kindly to hanging out in big groups, so she hadn't thought to invite him out tonight. Now that he was in her doorway, tho..Lissa beckoned for him to come all the way into her room. She liked it when her group of friends was as big as possible, so she was always trying to get Milo to socialize. "Hey, Milo. Feel like drinkin' tonight?" She asked him in a stage whisper. She had to project over the music playing and the general dischord that filled the dorms on a friday afternoon, but she didn't want the RA to hear.

Milo stood there a moment and glanced up at the ceiling and thought. Did he really feel like drinking tonight...hell yess!! He stepped all the way through the door and walked over near the bed where she was sitting. "Depends on whats in the bottle..." he said not changing his facial exspression. He let out another sigh and looked at the other guy sitting on the bed with her. Joel Walken. Milo didn't really know him all too well...Milo didn't really care. He looked back to Lissa and almost gave half a smirk.
"Are you going anywhere?" he asked her, now quite curious as to her plans for this wonderful evening.

"Depends on whats in the bottle..." Lissa gave him a wry smile. Milo had a dry sense of humor when he wasn't trying to be funny. She pointed to the space under Max's desk where they kept their secret booze mini fridge. "Go look" It was freshly stocked with Absolut, Bacardi, and Jim Beam. Their other, school-sanctioned, mini fridge held a variety of juices, sodas, and energy drinks that worked as mixers and chasers.
"Are you going anywhere?" Lissa nodded. "Yeah, for sure. We - me, Max, Joel, Derek, and Athena, and I guess you - were gonna buzz up in here then head out to a club. I had a bad week so I'm dragging all you guys down with me" Lissa smiled. It was almost a group tradition to get trashed beyond belief after a long week. The going theory was that if you couldn't remember what happened Friday night, what was there to say that what happened the preceding week really happened, either? It wasn't the best theory, but no one contested it.

Milo shook his head slightly and looked over at the mini fridge with the all the good stuff. He needed a drink and hadn't had one all day. Milo like to drink but he would never consider himself a drunk but most knew he was. He didn't hurt anyone or go out on a rampage but he did tend to get really friendly to the chicks he was closet to and he did tend to curse an awful lot. He was also prone to fights and such.
He set his backpack down at the foot of her bed and walked over to the fridge and took out the jim beam and looked at it with half a smile. He glanced around for a shot glass and found one. Milo poured the amber drink carefully so no to waste any by spilling it. He set the bottle down and shot the whiskey down. He was used to the sting. It felt good.
"So I guess you are dragging me into this, huh?" he asked while looking at the bottom of the shot glass as if hoping that it would refill itself.

Joel looked at his reflection in Lissa's mirror and laughed. As he began to undo the braid she'd made his bangs into, he simply shook his head. "No way Lis. No fuckin way." His chuckle disappeared as someone entered the doorway. Joel sat up and shook the hair from his face. Milo Richards. They hadn't talked much, but Joel had seen him around before. Didn't seem much like the party type, but Joel didn't really care who went out with them tonight.
The two had a conversation back and forth, so Joel leaned his head back against the wall. He planned on zoning out until someone hit him or said his name or something. He wasn't too good with being the awkward third wheel in the room. Today, he just figured he'd ignore it until enough time had passed.

Lissa readjusted herself when Joel sat up. She knew the two boys weren't particularly close, but they didn't hold any animosity towards eachother. And when the other two showed up it would make the situation less awkward for Joel...Milo seemed perfectly at home in Lissa's room. He even found one of their semi-hidden shot glasses pretty quickly.
"So I guess you are dragging me into this, huh?" Lissa half-laughed. He had drank some of her booze, so he was in for the full ride. It was just another rule that the group had: if someone drank Lissa and Max's alcohol, they were in for a full out party night thanks to the girls. "I'm absolutely dragging you into this. You know it'll be fun"

So Derek liked to look good before he went out. How was that his fault at all? Athena was still missing, and he was supposed to be across and in Lissa's room already. He'd decided 20 minutes ago that he wanted to shower. Having just gotten out, Derek stood in the middle of his room with a towel drapped around his hips. His hair had been perfected already.
Derek shrugged a shirt over his head that he praticularly enjoyed. It was a solid lime green shirt that he probably should have stopped wearing two years ago. It was snug, sure, but that didn't mean Derek wasn't going to ewar it every chance he got.
After pulling on his favorite pair of black skinny fit jeans and placing his favorite multicolored hat atop his head, Derek grabbed his bright purple hoodie and stuffed his feet into his black van slip ons. He was about as ready to go out as he'd ever been. So in light of that fact, he picked up his key, locked his door behind him and walked into Lissa's open door. There were some people gathered already. He nodded around the room. "Hey Milo, Joel. Hi Lis." [/size]
