Beth smiled. Rylan was going along with this. She laughed in her head and played cool on the outside. Beth stood up and walked over to his side of the table. She sat on his lap and stroked his cheek.
Beth had done this a couple times in the past to creep him out. Most of the time he got creeped. On the inside Beth was going crazy. She was laughing, but at the same time she liked it.
Beth moved her head near his left ear and whispered into his ear. "I'm ready for you then." Beth smiled, knowing that he couldn't see her face.

Rylan watched her movements, his body sending confused signals to his brain, which pushed them aside. Usually there was only one aim for such foreplay, one line that friends didn't ever cross. As she settled ontop of him, he allowed a smirk to slide onto his features, reminding himself that they were only playing around. A part of him wished it wasn't playing around, but once again pushed the feeling back.
In the past, Beth had always done things like this, but never had he decided to play along. It felt different, and he wanted to play this game. A laugh threatened to escape, but he resisted, though it managed to surface. The smile remained as he balanced her weight, his eyes meeting hers.
He attempted to view her face as she moved toward his ear, though didn't dare move. Her breath tickled his skin, but he willed himself on, forcing himself to be as serious as possible. Rylan had practice at this, faking things that is. A finger trailed down her arm, his touch so light he was pretty sure she couldn't feel much of it. He found himself smiling again, thinking up something suitable to say, his fingers continuing to tease and trace her skin. "In the kitchen, huh?" He whispered, his face growing increasingly closer to hers. "I guess we can work with that."

As the short hair on her arm rose as she ran his hand down her hand she shivered. She tried not to show it beacuse she didn't want him to stop what he was doing. Truth was, Beth actually liked this. She loved it, but she didn't know if he wanted to go further or not. She wanted to, but what if he didn't want to. That would just ruin their tight friendship.
Beth removed her head from his ear and stared into his eyes. She always had admired his eyes. When she was younger she would beg her parents for eyes like his. That was the only thing in her life that her parents couldn't buy her.
She didn't want to make the first move, not wanting to look dumb in front of Rylan. So she thought to herself, thinking of what to say.
"Alright. Lets start, Ry." where the words she managed to think up in that short period of time.

Truthfully, Rylan liked this as well. Thought, he found himself second guessing his own actions, unsure of what to do or say. Usually he wasn't like this, being a very outgoing person and up for everything, but his thoughts seemed to linger for a few moments. Did she want the same thing he seemed to want? Or was it a one sided ordeal? Thoughts infested his mind at that point, but he forced his attention on Beth.
As she pulled back, his eyes met hers, seemingly questioning her with his gaze, though pretty sure it actually didn't show. He needed to know it was all right, but he wasn't exactly sure that she was about to tell him anything, just let him play it out. A friendship could be gained or lost from this, and he wasn't too sure how or if he should risk it. Rylan wasn't the kind of guy to take advantage of someone, which at the moment he somewhat felt like he was taking advantage of Beth, but what did he know?
His focus was brought back to the present as Beth spoke, still quite unsure about how to go along with this. The outgoing side of Rylan seemed to kick in, and he allowed himself to attempt at their game, if it even was a game anymore. His hand traveled down her side, his fingers caressing the small amount of skin showing on her lower back. His face grew closer to hers, closer than it had gotten before. This time however, he let his lips trail over her jaw line, pausing over her own lips, seeming to ask permission to continue.

Beth smiled. His lips felt so nice on her jaw line. It was almost as though he was asking for permission to enter her mouth. They had never gone this far. Never in their lives of knowing each other. This would either destroy their friendship or bring it to the next level. Well, you have to make rists in your life, and this was the one Beth was gonna take.
She grasped his cheeks with the palms of her hand. Beth pulled him to her, kissing him full on. Now, Beth didn't know if he would enjoy this. But she definatly did. Beth was caught up in the morning. Hopfully no one would come downstairs.

Rylan valued their friendship, and how flexible it had been over the years. Considering their fights and screw ups, it always seemed to work out. However, the one thing that he wasn't all to sure of was this. They'd never crossed the line of an occasional tease, but with all that they'd gone through, he was pretty sure even if this was a mistake, they could patch it up pretty quick.
He willingly moved toward her, his lips parting slightly as they touched her mouth. A smile played at the corners of his lips, his hand sliding to the back of her neck. Any second thoughts he might have had quickly disappeared, his focus completely on her. What would become of this, after all was set and done?

This wasn't what Beth had planned for her morning. She knew she would hang out with Rylan, but not like this. A movie, yeah. A make out never crossed her mind. Hope this didn't ruin their friendship. Beth had kissed many guys, just never Rylan. He was a good kisser, yeah. But it felt akward, kissing your best friend.
Beth kissed him intensly. She pressed her lips agianst his hard. She wrapped her arms around his neck, not letting her lips let go of his. She never wanted to. She was going to enjoy this.

Once he'd began thinking differently of Beth, he hadn't been able to rid the thoughts from his mind. After all, you weren't supposed to just develop these feelings for one of your best friends, right? This morning had somewhat been one of those thinking days, but the dreams had developed into something real. The whole concept somewhat scared him, at how quickly they'd shifted gears into a whole new world it seemed. Though, being outgoing and pretty adventurous, he was more than willing to try something new, hopefully coming out with just as good of a friendship as before.
Rylan kissed her eagerly, his lips tugging lightly on hers. His skin grew warm to her touch, an overwhelmed feeling flooding his entire body, yet in a good way. His fingers gently brushed her hair behind her ear, his hands finally resting on her hips.
