Cassie was slightly surprised as he kissed her. She smiled as she pulled away from him. "Finally." Cassie grinned and laughed, "Well, if you want me to freeze to death I can get back in." She grinned again, "And it seemed that your scheme worked out fine anyways."
Cassie fell from her kneeling position to sitting sideways. "I'm even more sure that I don't want to go to school now...." She leaned back on her hands and smiled at Ryan. Cassie looked up at the sky then smiled to herself and looked back at him and leaned forward and kissed him again quickly, then leaned back. "What now?"

Ryan wasn't exactly sure what to do. The expected slap never came. Nor did the expected angry talking to. In fact, her reaction surprised him. As Cassie grinned, he followed suit and grinned back at her. At her comment he merely raised an eyebrow and grinned more. "Dead Cassie? Please. Stay out of the water." He laughed slightly and pulled himself off the ladder onto the dock.
His smile had just faded when Cassie engaged his mouth once more, leaving him smiling once more. "What now? I... I don't actually know." Ryan put his hand in hers and just held it. "I mean, I have an idea of what's supposed to happen. It's just a matter of do you agree?" Ryan looked at her, hoping he didn't have to keep talking.

Ryan looked surprised after she had kissed him. "Surprised at my lovelyness Ry?" She giggled and tilted her head to the side slightly. "And I'll stay out of the water if you do. But if you go in, I'll be forced to go in with you. I hate being lonely."
Cassie grinned at him. "Alright then. Lets go." She tugged at his hand that she was already holding. "I say we make this day absolutly.....umm, wow!" As she spoke she walked backwards, facing him and when saying 'wow' her eyes opened up wide and her smile brightened even more. "But the deal is that you have to pick where we go. And fun. I like fun." Cassie smiled at him. [/blockquote]

"Don't worry. I'm not leaving you anywhere by yourself. Not anymore." Ryan grinned at Cassie. This day was already the best day of his life. Glancing down at the watch that clung to his wrist he realized it was still very early. "7:30. Well this is a new record. I'm having the best day of my life before my parents have woken up."
Ryan's grin slipped away as confusion settled in. Cassie pulled his hand and he stood up facing her. "Wait. Let's go where? Mars Bars, I don't like that look in your eye." It was true. She had a glint in her eye as she walked backwards in front of him. He smiled as she completely finished her sentence. Typical Cassie. "You're going to make me chose? Don't you think I've done enough already? I mean, you did make me make the first move. That took a lot out of me. Why don't you surprise me. That's only fair." He grinned at her and hoped she'd take him up on the deal. [/blockquote]

Cassie's grin glowed. She felt alive and silly and amazing, just standing there with him. "Ditto," she said. "Guys should always make the first move silly. I was just about to, but I guess you beat me." She smiled and stopped, still holding his hand, playing with his fingers. "Fine, I'll choose, but....you have to do what ever comes next." Cassie laughed and poked his stomach.
She grabbed one of his hand with one of hers, their fingers laced with each other, and began walking. Cassie didn't stop, she just kept on going until she had reached the only place she could think of. "My rents are gone, and I'm not going to school." She opened the door of the small apartment and led him to the living room. "I'll be right back." Cassie ran upstairs and changed as quickly as possible. Five minutes later she came back down with jeans and t-shirt one size too big for her. She looked around, not seeing Ryan, "Ryan....? You still here...?" [/blockquote]

Reflexvely his hand covered the spot she'd poked. A small laugh had even made it's way out of him, but there was no way he'd let her send him into a laughter fit this soon. Straightening himself up, he draped one arm around shoulders her and put the other in his pocket. "I'll do whatever I have to Cassie. You know that. I mean, I'm not about to lose you." Ryan raised an eyebrow as he smiled over at her. "Now. Lead the way my dear."
Once insde her house, Ryan looked around. Now that he thought about t, he'd never been inside this house before. He knew Chris Miles lived with her, but chances were he was passed out in a drug induced coma or, the less likely situation, at school already. Cassie said something and was suddenly gone from his side. As he looked around he wished he'd been listening to her when she spoke to him. "Yeah. Sure." That was all he managed to yell after her in the direction he thought she went in.
While she was gone, Ryan walked off into the kitchen. The house wasn't any different than most of the houses on the block, just... smaller. As he looked around, making sure he didn't open any cabinets [more out of respect than anything else] the stairs creaked, meaning either a) Chris was around. Or b) Cassie had come back. Hearing her voice made the latter true. Smiling, he walked back to where she'd left him and snuck up behind her. Wrapping his arms around her waist he said, "Of course I am." [/blockquote]
